About
I’m Phil Bowell, an English designer and aspiring writer. I grew up in the Nottinghamshire countryside and now reside in Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswolds. I’m currently a senior UX/UI designer and previously worked as a freelance designer after stints in two small print design studios. I’m a Christian with a heart for Israel and the Jewish people having visited the land twice and experiencing the Bible come to life in a whole new way.
I like to read, write, spend time with friends, and when I can watch Nottingham Forest or the McLaren F1 team. I’ve been blogging in one form or another since 2006, which makes me realise next year will mark two decades of making things for the web.
Colophon
This site runs on Micro.blog with a theme that began as Bayou and which I am slowly making my own (just like the good old days).

You can follow me on various platforms but I recommend RSS first.
And you can email me if you’d like to say hello in a non-public forum.
