I’m starting to come to the conclusion that what I really want is a Mac in an iPad form factor. Or smush the two together so I have the best of both worlds.
Christopher Wilson I’d love to see an iPad studio (like the surface studio they tried a few years back) but I’m not sure I’d ever actually buy it or want to use it.
I think it would be interesting to see an iPad ish device that when connected to something like a magic keyboard looks and works more like macOS, but when detached is still the same old tablet experience I love.
Phil Bowell @ChrisJWilson That’s basically what I’m after. I want it to be macOS when connected to a Magic Keyboard or External display with keyboard, but then iPadOS when it’s not. Kinda like those old Windows tablets that had the Metro UI when in tablet mode.
Christopher Wilson I actually had an RT one (yes, I was one of the 10 people who did. This was back when I hated Apple). It was basically a tablet that had the full office suit.
