Today is a dark mode and headphones kind of day. After a solid 5 hours of back to back calls yesterday I need to actually do some work and recharge my batteries.

It’s these kinds of days when I find the idea of living in the remote north very appealing. I, of course, idealise it, but the thought of being in a space that looks out on the wild countryside with a fire burning in the hearth sounds like bliss. Perhaps I am a wannabe hermit? I don’t think so, but sometimes this boy from a small town in Nottinghamshire find the corporate world hard work.
